What's in a name?
Nabu is the Mesopotamian god of literacy and scribes. Ancient writing relied on cuneiform system in which writing was done using a wedge and clay tablet. Our systems use lasers and polymers, but the idea remains the same after 5,000 years!
What we do
Nabu Optical Systems is a spin-off company from the University of Dayton's Physics and Electro-Optics and Photonics Deparments. We specialize in transformative tools for direct laser writing (DLW) lithography that possess world-leading writing speeds and resolution.
